The 60th Miss Memphis Scholarship Pageant was held on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at St. Mary's Episcopal School in Memphis. Briarcrest Senior Nicole Jordan (17) was crowned Miss Memphis, and Junior Kaylee Prather (16) was crowned Miss Memphis Princess at the pageant. Nicole's performed "O Holy Night" (pictured below) as well as speaking on her platform, "SAFER-Sexual Abstinence For Endless Reasons."

Briarcrest Senior Kevin Owen sang "You Are So Beautiful To Me" at the pageant, which is special in his own family. Kevin's mother, Billie Ann Johnson Owen, was Miss Memphis 1980 and her sister, Kathy Johnson Thompson, was Miss Memphis 1982. Pictured below: Billie Ann and Kevin Owen
