Pat Kerr attended the University of Tennessee, Memphis Academy of Art, and graduated with a BFA from Memphis State College. She was crowned Miss Memphis 1960. She lived in London twenty years developing an extensive private royal collection containing gowns and items for Princess Diana, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Queen Victoria, and King George III. She is the widow of inetnational financier John Tigrett and a native of Savannah, TN.
Pat has spearheaded major civic celebrations such as the lighting of the Hernando Desoto Bridge, the groundbreaking "Big Dig" party for the Pyramid, and the inaugural Northwest/KLM flight to Amsterdam. She is the founder of The Blues Ball, The Jingle Bell Ball, and The Nutcracker Ball which benefits Memphis Msic, children, and the arts. She is the Chairman/CEO of Pat Kerr, Inc. and designs and sells antique lace fashions from her downtown penthouse/office. Her designs have been showcased in prominent New York retail windows and featured on the covers of magazines and books, including Martha Steart's Weddings.
She serves on numerous boards including St. Jude's Championship Golf Tournament, Rock 'n' Soul Museum, Riverfront Development Corporation, International Children's Heart Foundation, and the University of Memphis.
